Janet M. Beattie, BSN, RN, CCRC, MSHS MSN APRN-BC 
 

Janet Beattie is currently practicing at McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice/Brians House in Bay City.  Besides receiving her MSN from University of Michigan—Flint she also has recently received a Masters Science in Health Science from George Washington University with a concentration in Health Care Leadership and Clinical Research Administration.  She received her undergraduate education at Saginaw Valley State University and holds a certification as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.  She is a member if Sigma Theta Tau, Pi Delta Chapter and Theta Chi Chapter and is President for Pi Delta.  She also is a member of her local and state MICNP and serves as the President-elect for the TriCities Chapter.  She has worked in the areas of research, cardiology, urology, critical care and med/surgical nursing.  If elected Janet plans to continue to provide leadership in the organization and profession as those that have come before her.  She would like to continue to promote the role of the Nurse Practitioner in the community and through out the current medical professional climate.
